Crab:
β€’ 1 pound Alaska King, Snow, or Dungeness Crab meat
β€’ 4 tablespoons salted butter
β€’ ΒΌ teaspoon salt
β€’ 1 clove minced fresh garlic
β€’ Lemon wedges

DIRECTIONS

Step 1: Thaw the crab β€”
Thaw your wild caught Alaskan crab in the fridge for 24 hours. If you still see ice crystals on the crab after 24 hours, rinse under cool water to remove ice crystals.

Step 2: Baste and bake β€”
Place crab in a metal baking dish. Melt 4 tbsp butter plus ΒΌ teaspoon salt and minced garlic. Generously coat crab with up to half of melted butter sauce. Place in 400F oven for 20 minutes. Half way through cooking, baste the crab again with more of the melted butter. Keep remaining butter sauce for dipping.

Step 3: Crack and enjoy β€”
Serve with squeeze of fresh lemon and dipping sauce of choice. We recommend a simple salted garlic butter!
